An analysis of the digital technology supporting the UK Health Data ecosystem
The UK government and Wellcome will invest up to £600 million to create a new Health Data Research Service. The service aims to provide a secure single access point to national-scale health datasets for research purposes. It will launch in 2026 at the Wellcome Genome Campus in Cambridgeshire.
The goal is to create change in data access for research through globally competitive health data research services that are user-focused.
This request for information (RFI) asks suppliers to review and analyse the existing knowledge and evidence base around the current health data ecosystem across the UK.
Suppliers should submit their proposals via the Oracle portal and will receive a confirmation notification in response.
