Wellcome Monitor
Every two to three years we survey more than 2,000 adults to understand public attitudes about and involvement in science and health research.
We also ask questions about specific topics like:
- antibiotic prescription use and drug-resistant infections
- vaccine attitudes and behaviours
- willingness to share personal medical information for research.
Wave 5 (2020)
The fifth wave was conducted in England, Wales and Scotland in three parts:
- Covid-19 study
- Public attitudes to drug-resistant infections
- How the British public engage with health research
Wave 4 (2018)
The fourth wave of the Wellcome Monitor was conducted in England, Wales and Scotland, in two parts.
Wave 3 (2015)
