End-of-grant reporting
How to complete an end-of-grant report
Your end-of-grant progress report will be available on the Wellcome Funding platform once your grant end date has passed. This will be the case for all grants unless otherwise communicated. Further details on the process can be found on our how to report grant progress page.
Your organisation will also need to complete a final expenditure report to receive the final payment on the grant.
Researchfish
If your grant ended on or before 30 September 2026 you may have used Researchfish for end-of-grant reporting. Wellcome will no longer be using Researchfish for end-of-grant reporting.
If you wish to retain a copy of your data, the Researchfish PI user guide provides instructions on how to download your information via the “Download an Award” and “Personal Portfolio” sections.
Please note that Researchfish will be retired on 31 July 2027. You will receive a reminder from Researchfish ahead of this date with instructions on how to download your data, should you wish to do so.
