Sarah leads our Workplace Equity team, building a culture where everyone is respected, supported and able to thrive.

She works across Wellcome to embed equity into everyday practices and partners with external organisations to support their efforts to create inclusive workplaces.
Since joining Wellcome in 2017, she has led on significant achievements for workplace equity – from improved parental leave policies and gender pay gap reductions, to co-authoring guidance and toolkits on anti-racism.
Sarah strongly believes in the power of research to improve lives, and has previously held roles at the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) and Cancer Research UK.
