Job applicants from outside the UK
If you're a successful applicant from outside the UK, you must provide valid evidence of your legal right to work in the UK before you start working at Wellcome.
We encourage applications from suitably qualified and experienced people, regardless of their nationality, background or location.
However, Wellcome is not always able to offer visa sponsorship.
When we are able to offer visa sponsorship, the successful candidate is responsible for getting the correct and valid permission to live and work in the UK themselves, at their own cost. Go to UK Visas and Immigration on GOV.UK to find out more about your eligibility to work in the UK.
Wellcome staff will never ask you for money to assist with your visa application or to pay for a certificate of sponsorship. Wellcome does not use independent companies to help with visa applications. If you are offered such services claiming to be from Wellcome, they may be from criminal sources. Please contact us.
