"It is encouraging to see a clear commitment to the fundamentals that make great science possible in UKRI’s latest strategy—curiosity, collaboration, and sustained investment in capability. Delivering on the ambitions outlined will require UKRI to make choices about where to focus its efforts and resources over the next few years. Although prioritisation comes with challenges, it will be crucial in order to achieve lasting impact and ensure that the UK remains a global partner of choice for research."
