Molecular Mechanisms Career Advisory Group
This advisory group shortlists candidates for Wellcome Early-Career Awards and Wellcome Career Development Awards.
Read more about what we do and don’t fund in discovery research.
This advisory group covers applications that aim to deliver a mechanistic understanding of biological processes or machines at an atomic or molecular level.
Some examples of this are:
- structure/function studies of biological macromolecules
- application of physical and chemical approaches to the understanding of biological processes or machines at the atomic of molecular level
- genome organisation, integrity and stability
- protein function
Proposed projects may span more than one funding area. You should choose the research subject area which aligns with the focus of the project.
