Philippa Michael, Head of Public Initiatives

Philippa is Head of the Public Initiatives team at Wellcome. Together, the team and Philippa are working on public trust in science: understanding how people trust science today, and what science can do to earn people’s trust. They deliver this by generating data and evidence, piloting and evaluating trust‑earning methods, and using storytelling to connect audiences with science and Wellcome.
