Immune System in Health and Disease Discovery Advisory Group

This advisory group covers applications that aim to improve our understanding of the function of the human immune system in homeostasis and development, and in protecting against or promoting disease.  

Some examples of this are: 

• molecular and cellular immunology, including tissue and barrier immunology
• systems immunology
• immune regulation and dysregulation, inflammation, allergy and autoimmunity
• the immune response to infection and commensals 
• immunity and disease susceptibility or resistance, including studies of the human microbiome as it pertains to immunity
• identification and mechanistic characterisation of vaccine candidates, adjuvants, immunotherapies and immunomodulators

Proposed projects may span more than one funding area. You should choose the research subject area which aligns with the focus of the project.
