Project summary
Medical humanities is a healthy interdisciplinary programme in the UK, yet there is potential to work more closely with science and social sciences.
We will offer a series of workshops to explore the potential for working across disciplines. Two workshops explore the potential for collaboration with groups who have successfully collaborated with social sciences and sciences and this is followed up by an international workshop to explore the potential of working with others around the world.
In addition, three engagement workshops will examine ways that medical humanities can benefit research, teaching, new digital technology, public engagement and grant applications. The three engagement workshops will focus on digital applications, storytelling, and working with colleagues in public policy.
