Project summary

We will produce ethics guidance for the public health containment of serious infectious disease outbreaks in low income settings, where we learn lessons from Ebola and other infectious outbreaks.

We will create an online version of our workgroup guidance document with embedded links to sections and checklists, incorporating graphics and photographs. The entire document or sections will be downloadable as PDFs. We will also print a limited number of the guidelines. We will have consultations with stakeholders to decide target audiences, places, organisations and products, and they will be produced in conjunction with JHU Center for Communications Programs. We will also decide a plan for future products.

Dissemination of our findings will help people plan for infectious outbreaks.
