Project summary
Qualitative research is the type of research that finds out about people’s experiences. It helps us understand what is important for people and how care and services can be developed. Unfortunately, some qualitative research is not well reported. Previously, our team has developed two frameworks to help qualitative researchers improve their reporting. Researchers have told us that they find them useful, but they need some changes and perhaps combining.
We will bring expert researchers together in a workshop to help us with this task. We will also form a new expert group called the QUANTUM group.
Our work will make the original resources more useful and our expert group can continue to advise on other national and international guidelines as they are developed.
