International sanctions: how they can affect grants
Researchers must tell us if they think that international sanctions will affect their grant. We can then decide whether we are able to fund them while also complying with international sanctions.
This applies if a researcher, or anyone associated with the grant or the grant activities:
- is or becomes subject to international sanctions
- lives in a country that's the target of international sanctions.
All researchers and organisations we fund are responsible for making sure that no one working on the grant is the subject of international sanctions.
