Brain and Behavioural Sciences Discovery Advisory Group

This advisory group covers applications that aim to advance our understanding of the structure and function of the nervous system at all levels in health and disease, encompassing molecular, cellular and circuit-based approaches, to studies of cognition and behaviour. 

Some examples of this are: 

• experimental, theoretical and computational studies 
• investigations in humans and model systems, targeting basic cellular, molecular and systems-related questions 
• mechanisms of psychiatric and neurological diseases and how therapeutic interventions work 
• the impact of genetic, environmental and social factors on cellular, molecular, behavioural and cognitive phenotypes

Proposed projects may span more than one funding area. You should choose the research subject area which aligns with the focus of the project.
