Jonathan Wilkinson, Funding Manager, Directed Activities

Jon provides business partner support and expertise to the Infectious Disease team and other funding teams at Wellcome, ensuring the coordinated planning and implementation of discretionary funding. He works collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, including Research Programmes, Comms, Finance and Legal and others to achieve operational excellence and consistency of practice in helping to deliver Wellcome’s funding objectives. Jon also works with colleagues in Research Funding and across Wellcome on the planning and delivery of operational and strategic projects.
